Shampoos and conditioners by Patanjali Products

Patanjali Products, started by Yog Guru Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna as an Ayurveda products company, produces shampoos and conditioners of different types and for different types of hair for women, men and children. However, they are branding their shampoos as Kesh Kanti Hair Cleansers (where Kesh Kanti हिन्दी: केश कांति means glow of hair). Available in both sachets and plastic bottles, the shampoos and conditioners by Patanjali Products are relatively priced a bit low than other shampoos available in the market and have captured the eye of common people who need a low cost but quality solution and care for their hair.

How women and men choose shampoo

I am starting this blog with a popular and viral image depicting the points that girls/ women consider while buying a shampoo compared with how boys/ men buy shampoos.

The Image

Here's the image that tells how much Effectiveness, Brand, Smell, What it does to hair, Ingredients, Colour, Quality, Design, Recommendations, Reviews, Quantity and Popularity are important to women than men, who would just buy anything written shampoo on it.

My Personal Experience

I would like to share a personal experience here which happened in the Patanjali store in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. I am a frequent visitor to Patanjali stores and had in my mind the things I had to purchase for the month. As soon as I got in, I picked up a basket and put in Kesh Kanti Reetha Hair Cleanser and started hovering around the hair oils section. While I was doing that, a woman standing right near the shampoo stall, started giving me looks and I kept wondering what happened?

Then suddenly I realised that she was opening every shampoo bottle and smelling them. I smiled and the above image came to my mind.
